BTS3900L
HUAWEI BTS 3900 is modular cabinet that consist of:
- RF(radio frequency) units:
- Multi-mode modules (MRFUs, MRFUds, MRFUes)
- GSM modules (GRFUs, DRFUs)
- UMTS modules (WRFU, WRFU)
- LTE modules (LRFU)
- BBU3900 - unit for digital signal processing.
- Remote Radio Units RRU
- Associated cables with common public radio interfaces(CPRIs) for connection between RFUs or RRUs and BBU3900
- DC power distribution unit (DCDU), fans and ventilation system
HUAWEI BTS3900 series allows smooth evolution or easy upgrade and quick capacity expansion between different systems (GSM, UMTS, LTE) because of it's modular design. Cabinet 3900L has 12 positions for RF units and two possible positions for BBU3900 units.
RF units are developed with the Software-defined radio (SDR) technique which gives them possibility to operate in single mode, dual-mode or triple-mode. All Radio Access Technology RFU can be mounted in the same cabinet housing.
BBU3900 unit is equipped with different boards which can work in the same or in different modes.
Power supply units is developed with smart functions that shuts down BTS if insufficient power supply is provided. DC -48V power is distributed from one or two DCDU and provide DC power interface for all equipment inside BTS cabinet.
Temperature control function controls board, cabinet temperature and based of temperature range controls ventilation and fan speed.
